Through the church funds are raised to purchase school supplies. Then members of the congregation shop and organize all the school supplies, people of the community then gather together to fill all the backpacks. These backpacks are then donated to the local school to be distributed to children of the community in need for the upcoming school year. Usually between 100 and 200 backpacks are filled a year.
A way to get together with other families to prepare and serve free dinners to the community.
