- I started going to church with our children when they were younger. I thought it was really important for them to be raised with that foundation. And that is was important for our kids to know that they didn’t have to do things just because we said so, but because the Creator of the Universe said so, too! My husband has come alongside me and have been an awesome partner in attending church.
- Worshiping with other believers is really important. It is imperative that we belong to a body. None of us are perfect, or without failings. We come into fellowship and recognize that TOGETHER. We ask for His forgiveness TOGETHER. We all know we are fallen. We struggle day in and day out. TOGETHER, we draw strength and courage from each other. It’s had to try to live a godly life. TOGETHER, its is easier. 3. I have made some very good friends here, my brothers and sisters in Christ. And that makes my heart happy.
- To remind myself and others that Christ is the top priority. Just dropping in now and then would let that priority slip and would be disheartening for the minister and others there and a poor example to the kids we hope to influence. To be a church, we have to BE and DO. If people who care don’t show up, who will?
- It brings a sense of calm and peace.
- It’s like feeding another appetite, and I need and want that sustenance. I want God to know that I want to be there, and having the love and support of a church family is almost utmost. I feel communion is very important.
